I saw glimpses of progress, but I kept cycling through the same patterns: anxiety leading to fatigue, a few months without flares followed by weeks of exhaustion and pain.

I was designing my entire life around my symptoms — what I could eat, how much I could work, how social I could be — instead of feeling like I was in the driver’s seat of my own body.

What I eventually discovered was that my body wasn’t broken — it was braced, ready for the worse possible scenario. It wasn’t lack of discipline or knowledge; it was a nervous system locked in survival physiology. My body didn’t feel safe enough to heal.

Once I began to resource, regulate, and rewire my nervous system, something incredible happened: all of the dietary and lifestyle changes I had made over the years finally started to work.

When my body shifted out of defense and into safety, it could actually receive the support I was giving it. My energy returned, my sleep deepened, my digestion stabilized, and I felt a sense of calm and clarity I hadn’t known in decades.
Now, I no longer take any prescription medications for autoimmune symptoms. I’ve eliminated about 90% of the symptoms I once struggled with, and I use my own methodology to navigate any flare or challenge in my health and life with greater clarity, compassion, and awareness — preventing deeper flares before they even begin.

MEET KENDALL HITCH.

I’m an Integrative Health Practitioner and Somatic Therapist blending applied neuroscience, somatic healing, and naturopathic nutrition to help women heal from chronic stress, autoimmunity, and burnout.

My approach is rooted in both science and lived experience — after years of navigating chronic illness and hormonal chaos, I discovered that no protocol works when the nervous system doesn’t feel safe.

Through my Rooted Restore Method and now Embodied Resilience, I guide women back to trust, vitality, and inner peace by addressing the root of dysregulation: the nervous system.
